I sincerely think that Singapore's motto is like Olympic's motto.
Citius, Altius, Fortius, which is Latin for "Faster, Higher, Stronger"
Because of this motto, it becomes very clear why there's the existing supply and demand gap to fill up this void of people doing the most menial works. The good will only be better and the better will only get better and who is left to do the bottom rung works? Answer is very clear and our eyes can see.
Trust me, from what I observe, the gap and barrier between each social rank and statuses will just get bigger over time. It's a matter of time before a lot more Singaporeans seek not fortune but happiness in other countries.
